To develop low-emissions, high-efficiency engines, designers need to be able to count on the results of their combustion simulation. Mechanism Reduction with CHEMKIN-PRO Reaction Workbench
Putting to use the mechanisms in the Model Fuel Library is easy with CHEMKIN-PRO Reaction Workbench. The Surrogate Blend Optimizer capability of Reaction Workbench enables the creation of an optimized mechanism that matches real multi-component fuel physical properties.
Reaction Workbench can then be used to automatically reduce mechanism size using a combination of reduction techniques.
- The user controls the reduction process by selecting target parameters and acceptable error tolerances.
- Reaction Workbench automatically generates the smallest skeletal mechanism satisfying these specifications.
